Your gaze wanders across a seemingly endless winter landscape. Now, fix your boots in the bindings – and away you go! Zillertal offers a total of 180 lifts for winter sports. Skiers and snowboarders can expect exhilarating fun on 542 kilometres of ski slopes – with enjoyable carving slopes, long, sporty valley runs and demanding routes for real experts. FunLines on the pistes are fun for people of all ages. Adrenalin junkies can also choose from snow parks, numerous racing and speed courses and many easily accessible freeride routes, as well as deep, pristine snow hills. There are around 80 huts in the skiing valley which are perfect stop-offs for enjoying a bit of time out from your sporting activities on the slopes – either to top up your energy before heading back for more, or at the end of a long day of skiing.
Skiroutes in Zillertal
In Zillertal, you‘ll find 535 km of perfectly prepared slopes, plentiful lift facilities and fantastic panoramic views. We‘ve picked four impressive tours that allow you to explore the numerous ski regions. You can complete each of these routes in a day, always downhill and without having to cross other pistes.
Our advice to skiers is to start your tour early in the morning so that you will still have enough time to enjoy a stop in one of the ski huts along the way. We can’t generally estimate how long a tour will take as this depends on a number of factors however, we do ask that you take note of the operation hours of the cable cars.
