The Brandberg-Trail initially runs parallel to Village Circuit until the Forstmeile Playground. After crossing the Ziller River, the route leads along an asphalt road in the direction of Silluptal until the road toll booth. From here the route braches off to the east into the beautiful Zillergrund Valley, where the paved road ends and a gravel trail begins. After crossing the River Ziller again, a steep trail leads through a forest to Brandberg. From there it is another short asphalt section and then back on to a long downhill forest trail (exposed tree roots) until you meet up with the section used for the ascent. Return to original starting point.
